Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs
A cross-border exchange programme funded by the EU between new and experienced entrepreneurs across Europe.
What is ERASMUS for Young Entrepreneurs about?
The exchange programme ERASMUS for Young Entrepreneurs connects aspiring, new and experienced entrepreneurs across Europe. Participants benefit from the mutual exchange of knowledge and experience and gain access to new European markets. During a 1-6 month stay at a host enterprise new entrepreneurs collaborate with experienced entrepreneurs and learn how to run a business.
ERASMUS for Young Entrepreneurs is funded by the European Union. Ozyegin University coordinates the programme for new entrepreneurs and host entrepreneurs from Turkey and supports participants during the application process and throughout the entire stay.
What can new entrepreneurs expect during their stay?
As a new entrepreneur you will learn what it takes to run a successful small or medium-sized enterprise during a stay with an experienced entrepreneur. You will get to know the market in the host country and carry out projects independently, for example in the areas of market research and business development. The stay can be organised according to both entrepreneurs’ needs between one and six months long and is sponsored by the Erasmus programprogramme. Your advantage: the newly acquired knowledge will help you to launch a successful start-up.
Who can participate?
Entrepreneurs who live or run a company in Europe.
New entrepreneurs are either aspiring entrepreneurs who are firmly planning to start a business, based on a viable business plan, or young founders who started their own business within the last 3 years. Host Entrepreneurs own or run a small or medium sized company and are willing to share their experience and act as a mentor.
